The GMC CarbonPro™ bed is a unique carbon-fiber composite bed that stands up to wear and tear better than their traditional counterparts. This innovation is available on the GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and the Sierra 1500 AT4.
Design
The CarbonPro™ bed is made of the same materials often used in aerospace engineering for lightweight design and high resistance to extreme conditions. The carbon-fiber composite design makes the CarbonPro™ the most scratch, dent, and corrosion-resistant pickup truck bed on the market.
Testing
GMC put the CarbonPro™ bed through rigorous testing, from extreme high and low temperatures to corrosion testing to impact tests. GMC even designed special technology to shoot projectiles at Category 1 hurricane force, and the CarbonPro™ easily withstood it with little to no damage.
Unparalleled Functionality
In addition to its incredible strength and resistance, the CarbonPro™ bed is designed to be even more functional than its steel or aluminum predecessors. It’s bigger than GMC’s other steel beds by one cubic foot and offers special wells designed to hold bicycles upright for travel, as well as extra tie-downs.
Improved Payload
Because carbon-fiber composite weighs less than steel, the CarbonPro™ bed has a big advantage over traditional steel beds. CarbonPro™ is 25 percent lighter than the Sierra 1500’s steel bed, which allows for a payload rating of at least 59 pounds higher.
No Bedliner or Wheelhouse Liner
While most trucks require a spray-in bedliner and rear wheelhouse liner to avoid damaging the metal, the CarbonPro™ is so sturdy that it doesn’t require any modifications. This saves you time valuable time and money.

The CarbonPro™ is coupled with the world’s first MultiPro tailgate, which has six configurations to make securing and accessing cargo easier than ever. You also have access to an available Head-Up Display and Rear Camera Mirror, which can help you get the most out of your GMC Sierra Denali or AT4.
